7 was broken into

Ok, I've been thinking of selling my 7 for about 3 weeks now. I know that its probably a bad idea and a poor excuse just to get some extra cash but I might have no choice.......

My 7 was broken into last night and they scratched both sides of the car all the way up and down, slashed my leather seats with a knife and stole my PMC. Now my question is should I still sell after this.

I know that selling is a no no on this site but I've had nothing but problems with the car. First my Trans. was givin me problems in 5th. Then my boost issue came. Now this.

Despite my troubles, should I sell??

Mods:
PFS purple computer
PFS intercooler
PFS downpipe
Borla midsection
Apexi Dual N1 exhaust
Tokico struts
eibach springs

If 5th gear synchro and some boost issues are causing u that much distraught..perhaps the car isn't right for you? I can understand wanting to sell if the engine kept going bad, or some seals kept failing....

here you at in Virginia? It doesn't sound like your cars that bad. What's the PMS your talking about? If your close to norfolk, i wouldn't mind lookin at it and tellin you what I think. just make sure that it gets a good owner. i might have a buyer if you want to go low enough, i know he'd take care of it cause he's my dad, ha ha. but he just bought a Dakota, so he really wants a FD since I got mine. anyway, get back to me, i'd at least like to know what happens

Sorry to hear about your trouble. Some people are just ********,
aren't they? Stupid little pukes are just jealous because they're such losers. Slashing your seats...they just did that 'cause they know they'll never own a car as nice as yours.
I hope you had insurance. Good luck whatever you decide to do.

I do have full coverage on my insurance, and they are probably going to just repaint the entire car, according to a few people I know. As for the seats, there is this company called seatco that puts leather on ANY kind of car seat. Our dealership uses them to put leather seats in Odyssey minivans. They are AWESOME at what they do, and they make a kit for the RX7, so Im probably going to just re-leather the seats. So after the paint job and the new leather I might not want to give up the car. We will see what happens. As for goiing low with the price, Im not really sure how low you mean. I'm not givin it up for nuthin.

Too bad. I think a hack tried to get into mine recently. On the passenger side the weather stripping is out of place and the door handle is loose. No damage though.

Would you buy another sports car?

I think Ive changed my mind, but Im not sure. I REALLY dont want to sell it. If I did sell it I'd save some money for awhile and just buy a damn crotch rocket or something. I keep lookin at all these 7's on this site and the other day I saw a badass blue one driven buy the tech at PFS, and it made me sad. I was in my little civic hatchback .............oh well.

That really sucks man, I feel for ya. Keep the car!!!! I love mine to death even though it's killing me with the problems and the cash. You might want to check out a pair or Sparco seats
