7-7-7 boost pattern

so my car does a 7-7-7 boost pattern most of the time in 3rd gear. Once in awhile it will hit a 10-8-10 pattern, but it used to run 14-12-14 all the time. I searched through the faq and found this:

Missing pills for Wastgate and/or Turbo Pre-Control Actuators.
Wastegate and Turbo Pre-Control Solenoids are elctrcially unplugged.

As a possible cause. I have no idea where these are so if you could point me in the right direction that would be great.

Have you replaced any vacuum lines or had any work done at the UIM since you boosted properly? If not, then you can rule the above symptoms out.

only thing i did was remove the hard elbow and intercooler pipes from the uim to the intercooler. i checked those over and they all seem to be sealed properly. I did notice that my 02 sensor isnt plugged in. And i cant find a wire leading anywhere near it. I have a PFC installed, but i dont know if the 02 sensor is still required.

7-7-7...hmmm...it's a sign that you need to hit the casinos. It's gonna be your lucky day lol. Sorry, I had to say it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you have to either buy a seperate boost controller (I just use a Blitz boost controller) or buy the boost controller kit for the power fc to get more boost? With the factory pills out you will only see 7 psi of boost (wastegate spring pressure).

thats usually what a boost controllers base is set at...
i had a boost leak that was all 6's ...and had one before that was all 7's...
can't remember which was which ...but i ended up replacing the BOV hose and the y-pipe coupler....
the coupler wasn't ripped just worn and beat to hell
good luck
