7,4 boost pattern please help!!!!!!

ok so i just got my first fd. hooked up my boost guage and i am getting 7 psi on the primary and 4 on the secondary turbos. checked all hose coming from the intercooler and air box. the car is stock i forgot to mention. checked y pipe coupler and all other couplers. tomorow i am gonna get a silverline vacuum pump and check the charge relief valve and the air bybas valve. if anybody has any info to help out i would really appreciate it. i just wanna see 10 psi after 4500 rpm sooo bad.

7 on the primary is likely due to the restrictor(boost)pills being removed going to the turbo control and precontrol wastegate actuators. The 4 psi is likely the first turbo struggling to keep up and I highly doubt you are even getting the secondary turbo to transition.

First and easiet bet is to check for any loose vacuum hoses or broken check valves.

Look in the FAQ thread
https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/faq-3rd-gen-other-useful-links-68640/
Scroll down to the B section for boost and read those threads.

Then scroll down to the T section for turbos where you'll find this link (and other good links):
http://www.autosportracetech.com/RX-...erOverview.htm

There is usually more than enough info archives there to help fix this. Good luck.

there are alot of vacuum lines, first id try a different guage then id replace the lines. or theres always the easy way out by going non sequential

Primary turbo needs to make at least 8psi so the turbo control system can operate properly. As the the turbo pressurizes the intake, it also pressurizes the pressure chamber (black container just behind the alternator). A one way check valve goes before this container so it stays pressurized. I suspect that your having wastegate or corresponding solennoid/vacuum line problems related to it. Also jack the vehicle up and check the linkage to the turbos and make sure all the control rods are attatched.
