CA 60mm vs 90mm EVO-R headlights?

I can't seem to find anything searching around the forums about the difference in these two. I'm fairly new to lighting and searching around the net I keep coming up with some very specific lights people are comparing (60mm vs 90mm).

I don't plan to buy the HID versions so what would the differences be for the EVO-R lights with the different sized projectors?

I had the 90mm kit on my car and it had plenty of light output... but I had the HID kit. Also the 90mm kit is not projector.

Looking around the forums and rest of the Internet it looks like I might go with the cheapest set and put some Hella projectors in. A lot of people talk about it but haven't put up any pics to explain the process.

Try to fit a real HID projector in it, you are missing out if you still run halogen projector or reflector lights today.

Is something you've done or a recommendation?

I don't have any experience with EVO-R light, so I don't know how well they work with projector. It'll be piece of cake to mount projector behind that housing, issue is how much useable light can project out of that little gap.

For my car, I running my own custom retrofit flip up.
