Simple Sequential Turbo Control Solenoid Mount / Bracket

I am trying to finish up my engine bay and it has been way too long since I did the simple sequential mods. I do not remember how the turbo control solenoid mounted in the car originally, but currently it is just hanging in the rats nest area.

How have your secured the solenoid after doing the simple sequential mod? I do not want to have it just hanging there, nor do I want to zip-tie it.

I'm fairly certain that solenoid was originally mounted near the ACV. I don't remember what the OEM bracket looked like, but you might be able to build a simple bracket that re-uses one of the mounting bolts for the ACV blockoff plate visible in your photo.

^Yep.

I just cut off a metal 'ear' from something (I think it was from one of the now unused metal vac lines), put a 90 deg. bend in it to make a bracket and secured it with a block-off plate bolt. I bent the corner of the bracket over the plate to keep it from wanting to rotate.

Thanks for the suggestion guys.
After some digging online, I found that the oem bracket for the solenoid is part of the ACV itself, so I did not accidentally toss the bracket away somewhere.

Yep, I made a simple 90 degree aluminum bracket. If you eliminate the ACV you will need to make something. A drill and a vice and 5 minutes will knock it out.
