60mm a pillar gauge pod?
Ok Ive searched far and wide and im having no luck finding a 60mm A pillar gauge pod. What sucks is that almost all gauges made are of 60mm size.Im looking into picking up a blitz black light boost gauge in 60mm.If anyone can help Id really appreciatte it.One place told me that the autometer gauge pods can be dremelled to fit the 60mm.Im not really sure about that.I dont want the setup to look shitty.Ive also contacted this place called lotek. They said they could custom make it but I would have to purchase 30 units. So if anyone else is interested maybe we can do a group buy or something.

Yep, I have three 60 mm Greddy gauges installed on my A-pillar in an Autometer full pillar replacement. I actually didn't have a Dremel at the time so I used a file and a sharp knife. Works just fine.
Speaking of which, I have a 60 mm Greddy boost gauge for sale. PM me if you're interested.

There was a thread a while back when we kinda argued about if it was a true replacement or is mounted over the top of the stock. Autometer advertises it as a cover for the stock pillar, but it actually fits with out the stock pillar in place. What you need to do it take out the push rivet that holds the headliner in on the driver a pillar, then get a bolt that is just the right length, drill a hole in the autometer a-pillar (in the right place) and use the bolt to thread into the hold that was used for the push rivet. I used a bolt that is used to hold furniture together that has a allen head an painted the head black. I have been lazy and haven't gone back to find the exactly right length of bolt so mine sticks out a bit. I will post some pics later tonight when I get home. I think I posted some pics earlier but I can't find the thread right now.

I don't know about availability in the US, but TRUST make an A-pillar mount that holds 2x 60mm gauges, and it's specifically designed for an FD.
Only downside is that it is for a RHD car...

Has anyone modified the steering wheel pod to fit a 60mm gauge? If not, does anyone think it will work?
I guess it really depends on how much of your tach you want to see?

I got mine from Jeg's, the link above. The other is the link to the Autometer page for them (click on the link, then product catalog, then page nineteen and scroll down). Yep, I just shaved pieces off of the pillar until the gauges fit.
