600hp tranny

Has anyone done a tranny swap for a high hp FD? I'm looking to to get near 600hp at the rear. Any write ups? What tranny and what parts to get? I've done search but the threads seem to only talk about what people wanting to do. If anyone's already done one, please let me know. All the experts I've spoke to tells me the stock will not handle it. I've found a place down under who made adaptor plates for the supra tranny, but they don't offer it anymore. If anyone has a cost effective solution, please let me know. Thanks.

Well, if money wasn't an issue, I would just get a built, Mazdaspeed 6-speed transmission. If not, then just take your transmission to a shop and let them build a racing transmission. Or you can try and order the parts and do it yourself.

HKS and Greddy make 6 speed trannys, they both make them dog gear style, but one of them makes a 6 speed synchromesh tranny, not sure which i think its HKS, oh yeah they cost as much as a good kidney.
