60,000 mi check up
I'm getting close to the 60k mark, at 57.5k to be exact, but I need an oil change soon anyway so I was thinking of just getting it all done a little early. For those of you that have done this already, what maintenence was necessary, how much in parts did it cost you, and just in case I can't find time to do it myself, how much did/would labor cost? I believe that it would include an oil change, new plugs, new fuel filter... Anything else?
Thanks!
Thanks!
for a 60k service, you will want to replace the following:
*oil and filter
*air filter
*fuel filter
*flush and fill coolant
*brake fluid
*trans and diff fluid
*spark plugs
check:
*O2 sensor
*spark plug wires
*brake pads
*all hoses, belts, blah, blah, blah
Oh, yeah, and rotate the tires if you haven't done it in a while.

I was also wondering what needed to be done for the 60K service as well seeing as mine is at 57000 now. Thanks for the good info rynberg. Thankfully, I did almost all of that when I bought the car earlier this year. Well I for one feel better now.
