6-0-3 Boost Pattern

I just bought a '93 RX7. I installed an air/fuel guage and a boost guage to make sure everything was working right before I start upgrading. I ran the vacuum hose directly to the intake manifold(Is this the right place?). My boost pattern is an anemic 6-0-3. I was hoping someone who has experience with this could help me. I dont know how all the actuators and solenoids control the turbos. I have the shop manual haven't gotten around to readin' it yet. Because its not running lean im going to go head and start upgrading for now but I hope one of you could help me with my boost problem.

There is a very good website that has a walkthrough for troubleshooting boost problems with the sequential system:

http://www.autosportracetech.com/RX-...leshooting.htm

They also have a quickie overview of the system as well:

http://www.autosportracetech.com/RX-...erOverview.htm

That should get you started. You might also post in your regional forum. I'm sure there are other local FD owners who would probably be more than happy to help you out.

best advice that I can give is to have about a grand in your pocket when you decide to replace all of your vacuum lines.Odds are if they are stock theyre worthless. In which case so are the numerous solenoids underneath the upper intake manifold.Dont forget that theres the engine duty solenolid thats attached to the manifold by two 10mm bolts. If you dont unbolt it you will break the nipples off of it.That cost me 170 bucks to replace.
www.hosetechniques has all the vacuum lines you need in a kit for the rx7.I think it was 150 with shipping included. Also replace your intercooler couplers. The one to really watch out for is the one that connects the aluminum y pipe to the plastic crossover tube.
