5 spd conversion wiring and aftermarket ecu questions

I did a 5 speed conversion awhile ago to my car, and I got a question about putting an Apex'i Power FC in my car. The thing is, I got the stock wiring from when I had the auto which was modified to work for the 5 speed conversion, like most do I assume. I am wondering if this ECU will work on my car and this is just another stupid, worthless post?

just get a new wiring harness

with the PowerFC you'll need a new wiring harness for your A/C to work anyways

You should be fine. I ran my PowerFC in my auto car before my manual conversion, and I'm running it now after the manual conversion (until I can my AEM to work, anyway), and we never changed anything on this part of the wiring harness.

AC may or may not be a problem. Mine hasn't worked since the day I bought the car, so I couldn't tell you if the PowerFC has any problems with it, but I seem to recall cars that were manual from the beginning having AC problems, as well, so it's probably not auto specific.

At least you had the swap done. I can't find anyone here who will do it for me. I need to find a workship manual so I could do it myself though. Well good luck to you in the future with your seven.
