5 months of agony come to an end, and a whole new pain begins

here it is, finally after all the anticipation (at least by me) my build is finally done and my monster is coughing back to life

This wasnt the first time i started it, just a video to show what i have going on. It took me about 4 hours of messing with my ECU to get it all started up, then after letting it idle for a good 20 minutes it died on its own cause the gas light had been on when i blew the motor in march and i had forgotten to fill it up since then, so i went out to get some and after finding 2 gas stations still closed after the lighting storm that ended 2 hours prior and 1 gas station that only had regular i finally found one that wasnt retarded, filled my jerry can and went home to fill her up and try again. After i got her running again i was able to figure out the issues after a quick drive around the block. As soon as i backed out of the driveway i realized i had forgot the power steering fluid (had to remove cooling line and re-route for the v-mount) then about 3/4 of the way around the block my engine coolant alarm came on so i gently yet quickly made my way home, and in the driveway that surgeing told me i likely have a vacuum leak(although it may just be i havent set up the idle correctly, not sure)

My build was a long one, really starting in november then my motor blew in march so i have been pieceing it back together since then

mods i have done are:
- Greddy Vmount kit (just the layout kit, hot side piping and intake piping is custom)
- Borg Warner EFR series 8374 IWG Turbo
- Turblown 3" Downpipe and Manifold with inconel heat sheild for manifold
- Davies Craig Electric water pump (controlled by ECU)
- Turblown EWP kit
- CJ motorsports "FPD" Fuel Rail kit
- Aeromotive Fuel regulator
- Injector Dynamics ID1000 primaries and ID2000 Secondaries
- Pineapple raceing large street port (both intake and exhaust ported and polished by me useing the templates)
- Exedy Twin plate racing Clutch
- Sakebomb Garage oil filter pedestal
- Innovate Oil temp/pressure gauge
- AEM wideband o2 sensor and AFR Gauge (plumbed into my ECU)
- AEM truboost boost controller (mounted in cluster in place of stock boost gauge)
- Adaptronic series 8 RX7 Plug & Play ECU
- Knight sports 3.5" high flow cat

Had to make a few custom things, such as my fiberglass pillar mounted 2 gauge pod, Battery box, the intake pipeing on the turbo is custom cut and fit by me, i pulled the wire harness right apart, got rid of all the wires i no longer needed and re wrapped it(as well as pinned out a few things that i would be re-purposeing)

The car came with a couple things, had a 3" kakimoto catback on it, that bodykit (dont know what it is), fully adjustable coilovers (cant remmeber brand but they are really good), mazdaspeed brakes (not sure if those were standard or not), and my yokohama superadvan V2 rims wrapped in AD07's (that need to be replaced soon)

No clue lol, tried to figure it out wile I had the bumper off but there are no markings anywhere on it, it came from Japan with this kit on it so I can't even speculate unless someone else here knows what it is

And thanks Elliot

awesome, thanks elliot, will have to load these in this weekend and play around a bit,
also pretty sure i figured out the heat issues i was haveing, it would seem that some point between me starting it up for the first time and getting it home on monday the wire i have running under my bumper to the EWP shook loose or broke somewhere, and i couldnt tell till all the fans stopped running and i bridged my relay to make it work and nothing happened, so i went and wiggled all the wires from the firewall all the way up front to the ones running under my bumper till i herd it pop back to life, so now i have to rip my bumper back off and go chaseing the wires under there to make sure it doesnt happen again. still think i have a vacuum leak though which is going to be a bit annoying to find, although i think if i replace all those green hoses i tried useing it will sort itself out (i really shouldnt have used those at all lol)

Alright got all the water issues fixed, now runs around 67-75 degrees wile driving and around 80-85 wile sitting, also filled PS fluid and changed all the vacuum hoses which took care of the surges idle I was having, however I am still having idle issues, I have adjusted the idle air screw out so that I'm at around 1100 when warm (any lower wasn't working cause of my porting) however when I let off the gas and hit the clutch to roll a bit it dies sometimes, things I'm thinking are that im running #9 plugs all around, could that cause it? Bad spark? To much drag on the new clutch? Pilot bearing not spinning good? Or is there something in my ECU I can change to help keep this from happening

The exedy twin disc comes with a light flywheel right? I had issues stalling when letting off and clutching in and found that my motor wanted alot of extra fuel below the idle cells to "catch" itself with a big streetport and light flywheel. My idle afr's are low 13's and i ended up about a full point richer in the cells below idle range and it solved the issue. Thats with a dashpot and aic valve.
