the video didn't show anything important. at the end of the video it showed the scoot rx7 stripped out and they welded a bar or somthing in the front and had the 4 rotor siting next to it. and it said "to be continued".

is the 4 rotor related to the engine that mazda used in the 787B or is it some sort of wierd frankenstein type powerplant that they came up with?

They had a page about it in the RX-7 Magazine #14. It says it's a Scoot RX-8 24A 4rotor. 12A based 4 rotor engine with 450ps/9000rpm and 45.0kg-m/5800rpm.

Also (and this is pretty cool), the Scoot Scooter 20A 4rotor!!!! A scooter! 10A based 4rotor engine with 320ps/9000rpm and 32kg-m/3500rpm.

This things should be awesome!
