JoeD: I hope you weren't flaming me with that "blowing a load" comment. I was merely giving my input in this thread. Was I blowing my top about it? No, because I think it would take a while to do a 4 rotor conversion and not to mention with the $$ it costs(I still say 80-90k at least) it wouldn't be worth it to most people. It wouldn't be worth it in my eyes for the lack of a.) you'd never need that much power on the streets and having that much hp would probably get you killed after driving a (supposed) 455hp rx7 then jumping to a 1000hp+ rx7. b.) You could go through all that work and still blow the motor for the fact that alot of a 4 rotor is un-pioneered and just how easily a rotary blows after a little bit of detonation.

Codaxx: *edited* don't want to pass judgements until I see pics of these vehicles.

Hey hows it going
I can vouch for codaxx and his cars. I think his dyno numbers are a little exagerated. he didn't do the work on the BMW or his S4. The S4 is begging to blow up any second. The BMW might live but he is putting way too much boost. He Had IVM do a costom turbo i think its way too big not really drivable. On his S4 he is using a stock EMS with a APR map. His Xterra is the only half *** properly excuted car he has. It is running the injectors at like 92%. His Rx7 is a pretty good only for the fact that it is just a kkk kit. With a predone apex EMS tuned by Guess Who IVM. I personally dont they are the best shop on the west cost. But are pretty good. I give them credit for putting up with his ****. He always trying to do something crazy. it would be good if he didn't try and do half his self. As for his 200sx Its a PIECE OF CRAP. He welded in the engine mounts himself and then set the motor and transmission. Then he had the drivline made. He is a stock broker. I dont know if he who he is cureently working for last I talked to hime was a couple mounths ago. And he is was working at Pane Webber(sp?). The 200sx requires more **** to be poke preodded and fixed just to start than the space shuttle. It doesnt run for more than a day. MAX most of the time like 5 min. None of the gauges work or anything else. No Power steering. Just give him a break I think he just wants to have something special. But doesn't know what he wants and is a shitty welder. He took som e classes i think and I weld better than him. Everybodys got their dreams no matter how porly excutd.I also know this He lives in LV 95% of the time and drives up to reno everyonce in a while. I live in reno. Whew no shame by assocation. I try and work on my own car and will admit im not a verry good mechanic. ABut we all Try. He just gets to make way more mistakes and not notice the lost money. Wish I was rich. But I will admit the 4 rotor sounds really awesome.
When i first met him I saw him in his rx7. I stopped and he told me his cars i was like holy Sh*t. Then I saw them they are all half assed. Sorry Codaxx(John)

Codaxx stated he was w/ A.G. Edwards and tjhj is stating PaineWebber.

Codaxx states he has a 240sx, tjhj states 200sx.

Talk about mind boggling!!!!

Either way, welcome to the RX-7 forum.

One comment on the 4 rotor. If it was a 1000Hp stret machine with 50/50 balance. I'd be dead and in heaven.
Cuz there nothing on this earth as perfect as that.

Hes too much of a cluster **** for that. I also only saw the cars one at a time. Mabe their his friends??? who know who cares. Lets drop this BS and get to posting on something fun.

tjhj: Did you just join us today to give us insight on codaxx?

I don't see a need to ferret out trolls, as they eventually go away - but to perpetuate your lies and have conversations with your alter ego is just wasting our bandwidth. I swear, ever since that stupid movie came out....

something you may want to check in to codaxx, if you do come back, is that Scoot here in Japan is currently building a 24B using 12A engine parts.. Since the rotors and rotor housings of a 12A are thinner it will be about the same length as a 20B, but be a 4 rotor with more tork and a extra 400cc over the 20B.. They showed pics of what they are doing in a recent Option Magazine over here in Japan and It looks like somthing that would fit in a FD rather nicly... It however isn't built yet... but they say it will be soon...

Also there are a **** load of S13's and S14's over here in Japan with RB26's in them and the process is not that difficult, it damn near bolts in... and 600hp is not that hard to get out of that engine... As for welding, it can look ugly as **** as long as it's strong and isn't going to break... as for 50/50 weight ratio.. pull all the stupid crap off the engine like A/C etc and move the battery to the rear and you've already corrected the weight distribution for damn near free...
