hey i kinda have a stupid question for you but im going to be trading in my 2nd gen SE for a 3rd gen and i was wondering what the difference between the touring edition, R1, and base was. i would like to know this stuff before i go and buy my car. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

the tourings had no spoiler no front lip spoiler and a sunroof/moonroof only one oil cooler instead of 2 like the r1 and some less stiff suspension. the base is kinda like the touring with less options or it might have all the options as a touring depending on what was ordered. in 94 and 95 r1s are called r2s and base is called pep or peg. tourings have the bose wave radio in the trunk and no rear speakers while r1s and base have rear speakers and nothing in the trunk. r1s come with a strut bar and no cruise control or sunroofs
