3rd Gen Newbie
Hi friends at the RX-7 forum,
I am interested in the 3rd gen RX-7's because they look like cool cars plus they are rear wheel drive which seems to be going extinct these days. Anyway I would like to know if there are any years to stay away from. How hard they are to work on. How hard to find parts for and if the parts are expensive.
Thanks,
Craig

You're in for fun
Craig,
Welcome to the forum!
It seems as if you know very little when it comes to the FD (FD is the chassis for the 3rd Gen RX-7).
Just look around the forum, and you'll see all the fun people have with their 7. But you'll also see what problems they can have too. These cars are high maintenance cars. If they were girls, they're *** would be on the curb.
Well, I've been interested in this car for years. But I don't have one yet.
Still looking for that perfect 7,
Nick
