It seems a little too good to be true, unless you already know there are problems and intend on fixing them upon purchasing the car. If the previous is true, go for it.

Bought it. Heres the deal on the car. The guy I bought it from DROVE it to the shop my buddy works at for repairs. That's how I found out about it. It sat up at the shop for well over six months. The guys their are like most mechanics and have never delt with these things before. It drove to the shop with lots of black smoke. I asked my buddy what was wrong with it and he said he never really looked into it. Didn't care. Well my buddy told me he towed it back to the guys house. So I went their and offered $4k and landed on $4,500. I do have knowledge on the rotarys, I've owed them in the past and have replaced a few engines on a few different cars. but hey, if anyone could give me a place to start looking that would be great!! Thanks see ya on the road.

Constant threat
Not a bad deal at all. Some interesting mods (wheels, headlights, nice tint job, etc.) and the worst thing is a blown engine possibly. Rotary Resurrection can set you up with a good engine for a nice price, probably less than $2K or so, and you'll have a nice car there!

If you're new to FDs, check out the FAQ:

If you're not new to FDs, the links in that thread are also quite useful.

Hey.. it runs! Spent a few hours on her today changing out the oil ( had a lot of gas in it) and put new plugs in. I removed the EGI fuse (like stated in another post) cranked away. You wouldn’t believe the amount of S$$$ that came out. Put it back together and it fired. Ran like crap for a few then cleared up. still has an issue in the injectors of some sort because after I shut it off, its now flooded again.
