3bar on stock/pf pink ecu
Hi I'm rebuilding my rx7 and I was wondering if I could run a 3bar gm map on my stock/pink ecu. I don't have the money to buy a power FC at this time but I will in a couple of months I just don't want to buy 2 map sensors

Ok that still doesn't answer my question I asked if it worked putting a 3bar sensor on stock ecu ill be purchasing and tuning my car in a few months in the mean time I dont want to buy 2 sensors. My pink ecu is tuned to 18psi on high.

Arghx is correct. 3 bar sensor does not interface with stock ECU. Car will run rough, engine damage as a possible result.
Purchase car, evaluate, leave as stock. Modify slowly to taste.
You cant/shouldn't run more than 14PSI on the stock turbochargers, as the shafts are weak and will fail from stress of pumping more boost, resulting in damage. If you want to run 18PSI, then plan to use upgraded turbochargers such as BNR twins, or a single turbo.
Also, a higher mileage/older engine will not be too happy running 18PSI. So factor in a rebuild if that's your plan.
Not being harsh, just repeating what is posted on many other threads throughout the forum, in response to similar questions to yours. If you search, there are many threads where new owner guy A buys older RX-7 B and then cranks boost up, and RX-7 dies in short order. Then comes the "My engine is blown, what should I do?" following thread. Just trying to give you more info on the subject than you need

Aftermarket EMS is required for 3 bar sensor. Keep saving for the ecu then worry about the map sensor after you have upgraded everything else.
PFS PMC is a piggyback that does not support any aftermarket sensors. It also does not support larger injectors which are required for the higher boost levels.
