I believe there was a thread awhile back about some guy that would auto-x and would tow his wheels and tools around. It even said something about him toasting a NSX on his way home from one pulling the trailer.

Project D : I'm at Vance, that's Enid if you aren't familiar

machinis : Yeah man, it isn't that crazy to be in pilot training at 23. 18 you graduate HS, 4 years later you graduate college at 22, give it a few months and you are at pilot training at 23 as a 2nd Lieutenant

Today was the first day and here is the stack of "pubs" (aka books/study material) we were issued. We will learn/memorize most all of this info in the next 4 weeks, this section of the course on lasts 6 months, then hopefully on to the T-38 if I do well enough and I'll go to flying fighters or bombers

Beautiful FD. Shame she got hitched. =)

Definitely study hard - your class rank will determine what you fly (higher you place, sooner you get to pick your aircraft from the available choices). At least that's what I heard when I was trying out for OTS a couple summers ago.
