Unhappy 3500rpm idle

Hey guys I have searched around and have found only one thread that seemed like it should help me. That thread was saying that the Idle Speed Control solinoid could become clogged and cause a super high idle. I unplugged that and still had the same problem. I also checked my throttle cable and throttle body to make sure that it wasn't stuck open or too tight. The car accelarates and boosts like it would normally but just idles at 3.5k.

My question is there other things I should check. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks,
Ryan

The only way your idle will stay that high is if you're getting a TON of air around the throttle body. Either your AWS is way hosed up, or the throttle body is stuck open - that's the only way it can happen.

Remember, engine speed is set by how much air you move past the throttle body.
