Why didn't you do any runs past 11psi? What kind of a magic port do you have?

Why have/keep secrets?? I thought the purpose of this forum and community was for the furthering of ideas and concepts and siting evidence and tests of when those ideas/concepts are put into place in order to advance the technology within the tuning of rotary cars.

Am I wrong??

oh, btw....did you ever do your NS conversion right and take out all the restrictions that you left in the system like the huge door in the exhaust manifold that you just wired open instead of cutting out and all?

Wait a minute I figured out the secret. He doesn't even have a rotary in his car. Peter stuck the "awsome" Lexus motor in his car to do some preliminary testing.

Haha..

PFS's new experimental porting... The "Magic Port"....

The secret to this port. Before you put the motor back together you have to sprinkle some fiery dust on the housings..

Why tell someone you have a secret. Just keep your secret a secret. Now everyone is going to be hounding you to tell them and begin to make up stories about what they think it is. Then those stories will turn to rumors and so on. My mods are very similar to yours but I am no where near 349@11psi. PM me your secret. Don't be an ***, ***!!! J/K

HaHaHa. Gordon I love the signature haha, I almost fell out of my chair.

So what did he do a half bridge or something? He would have to do more than a street port to get 349 at 11psi unless its uncorrected numbers and would really be more like 330 corrected. Maybe its a combination of a agressive port and uncorrected numbers. Who knows what snake oil he used to get those numbers.

Dude if you wanted your car to be the PFS poster car you shouldnt have told people he did it for free. Now its like your just a pupet on the end of a Peter Ferrel string. I'm not saying you lieing about stuff, he might be BSing you too so you'll come tell everyone on the forum. You just would have seemed more creditable had he not given you the work for free, thats really all I'm saying

Well as a comparison with a similar a/f ratio Baddog made 318 @ .75bar and 337 @ .83bar that was on a bone stock engine with 65,000 miles and STOCK PORTS. The rest of the car is pretty much like yours.

I dont have a calculator to see how much boost that is in psi but I'm sure someone will. haha, someone want to convert that for me real quick so we can compare.

Rikki,
I do believe you spoke too soon and with much hyperbole as usual regarding PFS.

It only gives credence to the idea that you are totally obsequious to Petah Feral.

.75bar = 10.65psi
.83bar = 11.786psi
Where bar = 14.2

Ok, so Bigdog layed down a 337 @ 11psi and Rikki layed down 349 @ 11psi.

I think the difference of 12rwhp could be coming from the fact that Baddog didnt have any porting and maybe some difference from corrected versus uncorrected.

BTW - Here is a link to Baddogs post with his dyno chart.....

I think it's more of a difference than 12rwhp since it's closer to 12psi. Still, I want to see dyno sheets and maybe a vid of the dyno pulls with some under-hood shots if this gets too heated.

Well I mean the difference is 12rwhp no matter what. If you subtract 337 for 349 you'll get 12

As for the difference in boost, who knows. Baddog had a very accurate boost level meter that shows down to the tenths. I dont know what Rikki was using, maybe just looking at his gauge, I dont know. He said 11, I doubt very seriously that is was actually 11.00, you can barely tell one psi from another on a boost gauge, much less tenths. The difference vary well could be that Rikki was running 11.0psi and Baddog was runnin 11.8pri, that would prob be worth 8rwhp. My point though was really they are very close, 12rwhp on the dyno can come for alot of things.

Thats what i'm wondering too? I was leaning more toward 15psi making 449rwhp.

I don't understand why it's so unbelieveable? By looking at Badog's dyno and hopefully soon, Ryan's dyno, and with Ryan having some porting done...why would it not be possible?

Hey Rikki, how come you have the AFR at 11.3 now even though you were jumping up and down saying that it was fine at 12.5?

A little concerned about detonation?
