300 torque is it possible
Is it possible to get 300lbs of torque out of a auto fd7?
Does anyone know of a good shop to rebuild and stregthen auto tranny's mines done don't shift out of 2 just wants to rev to redline. checked my fluid seems fine. I found a ground wire loose near the ecu grounded that maybe it went to the tans comp and shorted it out? would it even shift from 1st to 2nd if that was the case?
I got the car backe from my mechanic and he changed the tranny fluid would that be the problems? it doesnt slip off the line takes off nice. Any help would be fine. O for the first question I have stock except intake and dp, catback. Any suggestions on ems?

perhpas your hold button got tosted, 5speed swap it
easiest way is probally to swap in a LS1 auto, infact it will give you over 300rwhp/ ft/lb of torque n/a stock!
if you wanna stick with a rotary, just buy a new engine and have it ported+new torque converter with a higher stall+tranny+new large+turbo+fuel+ecu+intercooler+slicks for your rims and get it tuned and youll be there in no time. then again, youll be lucky to just brake 300ft/lbs at a rpm low enuf to have fun with.
good luck

a new tranny won't cut it. you'll have to have the tranny rebuilt with level 10 internals. I have a single turbo auto. I think I could have bought another FD with all of the money I've spent on labor and parts.
