30,000mi apex seal change
Where do people get the idea that the rx-7's apex seals need to be replaced every 30,000miles. That would mean petty much and engine tear down and rebuild.

My teacher said the major reason they weren't used in more cars was the fact that the apex seals didn't last very long. They have to be replaced after something like 30,000 miles
