It's funny how a lot of your comments put's down an FD and yet most of you drive one, why do you drive one if you are not proud of your car.

Granted a porsche or a ferrari are beautiful cars and I for one would want one, but preety much financially this is what the wallet can afford and to me it is just as good and enjoyable as those supercars..

Yes, we are proud of our cars and think that they look as good as high end exotics (if not better), but most of us aren't going to fool ourselves and say our cars are exotic.

I drive an FD for the same reasons as you.

I'm not saying that are car is exotic I know that he was saying it is exotic, but if you think about it you don't see the FD everyday on the road, and also not many people even know about our cars.

I would think that, that would make it exotic to some people.

How many of you people here that hates his car actually races instead of giving excuses that your car is not running right or complain whenever you go over a speed bump?

I would say very few

Then if you do race, how many of you are actually competitive and how many of you regularly win?

I would say even fewer.

If looks are not what you want then you shouldn't give a damn what colour wheels are. The fact of the matter is those wheels are light as hell and if you weren't a ricer you wouldn't give a damn what color it is

Sure I do!!

The best respect I got was a nice thumbs up from two guys around my age in a brand new GT3 at about 1am coming home from the shop at a light, after that was when I had a guy infront of me in a new turbo on the highway as he drove by they gave me a thumbs up and I could see him explain to his girl what my diffuser was through the back window. People know a nice car when they see it cost or badges isn't really relevant.

WHA, AM I really on RX7 FOURM. why I got flamed sooo bad? Because I have PRIDE on my RX7.

IN MY option. Exotic car(or good sport car) need to have this in design

GOOD handeling
RX7 got it, Ferrari 348 got it (because 348 debut early 90?)

Unique Styling
RX7 got it(time less design still look after 13 year), Ferrari 348 got it
got to be 2 Door and 2 seater
Unique Engine
RX7 sure do, the only Rotary power sport car
FErrari 348 not many engine can do it better
Not platform sharing
RX7 GOT it too. 348 got it
Character

RX7 you have to be just right to fit into it. 348 is design for long hand short leg italia person

SO RX7 is exotic car from japan and cost much cheaper than Ferrari or porsche mabe with some upgarde it can be better too

I have nothing useful to contribute just noticed the difference in the factory brakes. Thought the brakes looked a little funny compared to the exotics.

There is no way to call that hood over the top on a car with that much power(think Viper) The wheels are rare, and about the only good looking three-spokes ever. Unless your posting up a pic of your car for everyone to tear apart, don't run your moulth.
1) That's fine, we hate you too.
2) fuggin isn't a word
3) One of those cars is a Ferrari. That is from Italy, the peninsula to the south of Germany.
4) Yes there is, scoot hoods are way over the top. Its supposed to be a hood, not a cheese grater.
5) The rims maybe ok, but that color combination belongs on a black or red FD, not a silver one. Note the lack of black & red striped rims on the other 2 cars.
6) We'll do what we want to.

He's right. Anyone but a tool realizes that the FD is a bargain exotic. All it is missing is the name and the pricetag.

Just switch the wheels from your FC to your FD and the FD will look SO much better (assuming the offsets are right).

Well, an exotic is usually associated with prestige of an devout racing history, exceptional build quality, or extremes of luxury. I'd take the FD over 360 any day though. The 911 is a different story though.

These ignorant comments about the hoods...I havnt posted here in 2 years but this thread made its way to the "non-evil" forum and I was a little agitated that people are making such stupid comments. If they knew anything about the 3rd gen's thy would know extra cooling (no matter what the hood looks like) is essential in keeping your car running longer. I don't care if this even gets replied to because I'm not going to be back on here for probably another couple years because I hate the lack of intelligence that people have on here.

I agree, I have thought about getting that same hood. Not because it looks cool but because that engine bay needs as much air flow as possible.
BTW diy: beautiful FC
