From watching this video, it sounds like the car reaches full boost before launching (even sounds like the wastegate opens up).

Would a stutterbox allow you to reach full boost from a dead stop? If not, what do you need? My FD doesn't have that big of a turbo (yet), but my Eclipse does. If I brake-boost while driving at constant speed (with Eclipse), I can reach whatever boost I want before accelerating (usually 14 psi). Just wondering what I need to do it from a launch.

a REV limmiter....it helps out with the AWD car also...it revs with full gas at a certaint rpm and Boost may be spooled at that time

 

Sounds like an automatic spooling with a high-stall torque converter.

 

that thing does not have a stutterbox ill tell you that. i think its a high stall ^
