Question help with fuel tank (missing) parts

So I'm trying to swap gas tanks for a newer version with better baffling.
the pic attached is not mine. It’s a pic I found online.

Mine is cut for a reduced capacity (by hinson for previous owner: http://www.hinsonsupercars.com/FuelSystem.htm). If you look at the pic attached, you'll see a silver round valve (the schematics call it a fuel vapor valve) on the left side. That whole side of the tank is cut off on my version so of course that isn't there on mine. But I do have that valve on the other (right) side near all the fuel lines. but it is not attached to any hose; it just breathes into the atmosphere.

Do you see the plastic black thing on top of the tank; schematic calls that liquid vapor separator. Mine doesn't have that either.

If you want to look at the schematics, here is the link:

http://www.turborx7.com/Media/rx7%20...%20chassis.pdf

I don't have those two white plastic check valves either. The one on the right side has a tube connected to it that looks cut and only about 1 inch long. I can't tell where that should be going to. I don't know its function and I don't know if this is related to my fuel issues (probably):

1) I can't fill up at gas stations because the pump always stops like it thinks my tank is full. I have to pump it really slow and it takes forever.

2) when I work under the car I smell gas (must be from that open fuel vapor valve) and I see residue of dried gas on the top and side of the gas tank; I wonder if fuel comes out of the open fuel vapor valve.

suggestions? help? how to fix? just look for a used one tank with all the tubes still attached? but my current fuel system isn't stock:
255 lph in-tank pump, goes to adjustable fuel pressure regulator (AFPR) right in front of the tank which goes to high flow fuel filter #6 and stainless braided hose #6 all the way up to motor. there is a return line from the AFPR back to the tank and that line is under 12 inches long.

thanks.

the vent tube that connects from the filler hose to the tank feels clogged; can't blow through it. and where it join into the metal part of the filler tube, that hole feels closed up.

Crap, I need to check up on that. I think mine still has the plastic thing that's next to where the bulkhead mounts.

Mine doesn't have the plastic baffling in the bottom of the tank.

Also, on an unrelated note:
Sorry I didn't get a chance to call you. I ended up having only two extra brake lines. I believe they are the ones that go from the brake MC to the ABS pump.
