2nd RX-7, This time a 3rd gen!

Hey guys!

I originaly joined the forums because I purchased a 1983 RX-7 but have recently compulse bought a 1992 RX-7! I never got a chance to get it inspected before I purchased it so Im taking it in for a Full Body inspection and an Oil chance tommarow.

Everything is stock as far as I know but I need to buy some new plastic bits for the door panels. I was wondering if anyone knew a good place to find them? Its a JDM so its something completely new for me.

Happy to be back on the forums and ill be taking some pictures of the old one and the new one

Have a good one guys!

Congrats on the purchase!

Did you get to drive it first or did you buy it out of state / country?

One of the reasons the guy was selling it was because he couldnt get it to pass the aircare inspection so I didnt get to take it on a full out drive but we did drive around the block because he was in a pretty secluded area.

I have been driving it for a couple days now and as far as I can tell I think it has a exaust leak and the guy didnt keep the oil topped up. So today I get the oil change and the inspection!

Car has a really weird idle in first and doesnt like to stay started when I first start the car even when its warmed up. I have been letting the engine warm up because I have heard that its a good thing for rotary no matter what year of the car.

Anyways hoping for the best with the car and cant wait to clean her up and take some pictures!
