Can someone clarify what the plug on the back side bottom does? Its the black one that is roundish and on the bottom. Is this one that can be replaced with the Miata?

The reason I ask is while messing with my wire harness the other night I broke that connector off and cant seem to find it. I didnt know if that was the one that could be replaced with the Miata sensor or not

Yea, that should be the thermoswitch. If you have an aftermarket programmable ECU (PFC, ect) , I don't think it's needed (or used).
