2 Quick Question About Koyo Install

Like the title says.
I searched and read a lot and I learned how to install it, however, here are 2 things I still have unanswered.

1) I read about putting spacers between the rad and the AC condenser. Is this necessary, and if so, why? -just trying to learn.

2) To drop it down I had to shave a bit of a braket on the passenger side (AC condenser bracket). Now the rad fits, but it's snug. Is this a problem? It's not shoehorned in there, but it is snug.

Thank you,
Giovanni

a snug fit is never a bad thing, also with the AC condenser i would try to put a little gap between the two so that you have a better air flow to the radiator. you don't want anything to rub on the fins bending them or possibly putting a hole in your new radiator.

Since we are on this topic, are there any different between the Koyo on eBay and one that carry by our vender? eBay one seems to be cheaper.

Ebay ones are cheaper yes, but you always take the risk of fitment issues and possible poor quality. i run a Koyo which i bought from Jason at RX7store, and have not had a single issue with the product. the radiator fit like it should and dropped water temps accordingly, i would save your self the possible headache and spend the extra cash to get the real product.

If the AC condenser is touching the rad yes. If wiggle room allows for it to touch the rad yes. You don't want your AC condenser slowly putting a hole in your rad.

As long as metal is not touching the aluminum you're good.
