2 questions about rx7 gauge & oil catch can

Sorry about making so many threads but just want to finish these 2 things since my project is almost finished.

#1 My rpm gauge is so freaking weird Ill probably have to get a new gauge cluster. The rpm sometimes moves on its own and then Immediately moves to the rpm that your currently at as if its on a rubber band when it lets go ( goes back into position) And my other problem is that the Rpm gauge when at WOT will be already at 8200rpm when the Powerfc will let me know that I'm just now hitting 7700rpms.
Meaning when i look at the RX-7 dashboard ill be shifting at the wrong Position or too early. So I will probably have to replace the whole gauge cluster.

But my question is if i wanted to could i fit a S2000 gauge with the electronic mph & 9000rpm into my FD

#2 second question is the Oil catch can. Is it worth buying and how much do they run.

so is the oil catch can worth the money
if i get a new dashboard will the rpm gauge be fixed & at the right rpms when at WOT without moving on its own
& can i fit a s2000 gauge in a fd

The bigger question is "do you really need one?". I would say that if you don't know if they are worth it, then you probably don't need one (at least not at this point).

Iirc, there was a guy years ago who fit autometer gauges onto the back of the cluster. Doing something like that, you could put whatever gauges you want into the cluster. Not easy though.

Tach fix

The file is too big to attach so here is a link to it. I just bought a new one from Fritz just to be safe.
