first, the car is beeping 5 times, then pauses for a second then beeps five times again. i figured it was the coolant level, so i checked it. it was low so i refilled it. the beeping is still going on do i have to reset it?
Second, if i rev the car to maybe 5 grand the rpms drop after i let me foot off the gas, and shuts off. it doesnt hold at 1000 anymore. im guessing its time for a rebuild, could i be wrong?

Do a compression test before just blindly having the engine pulled.
where it says coolant, unless i have to put coolant elsewhere also.
#2 thanks ill have that done. i heard some members buy a compression tester from an autoparts store, i might look into getting one from there.

The coolant level sensor is in that housing which is the Thermostat Housing. So if your coolant level sensor is beeping in the cockpit, you need to check the level from that cap (when the car is cool).
