Ok, before I do anything I want to get everyones opinion.. OK there is one wire in my 93 FD RX7 that looks like its coming out of the airpump, and it is broken at the connecter. (I dont know what its called, is this important? and can I solder the wires back together?

and most important... the second wire is for the upstream O2 sensor and its connected, but the bare wire is hooked into the broken connecter, how can I fix this? If you need pics, I might be able to get them
