2.5" or 3" Downpipe?

Any opinions on which size is better performance wise........ or does it even matter..............my car is stock so will both hook up to the Cat OK without any problems?........... Also what about mildsteel versus stainless......... are we just talking about rust versus no rust..........

Thanks,

David

PS Just changed the plugs for the first time on the FD I just bought............... let's all jump on a plane and go to Japan and track down the little **** that designed the access to those bastards...........then give him an ole fashion *** kickin.............what a friggin pain that was.........

I haven't even ever heard of a 2.5" downpipe for a FD... I would say 3" SS if you have the $$ ... Mild steel if you don't..

3 " stainless steel so it won't rust and last longer. After you install your downpipe, roll down the windows and hear your turbo scream.

While we're at it........ a guy wants to sell me a brand new FEED off an FD in Japan........... I was warned that because the Japanese FD's are right hand drives that the DP's have a big dimple in them for clearance of the steering mechanism.................this guy wants 250 for it shipped........... it is wrapped in fiberglass and has blue ceramic paint.............a good deal?
