2" and 2-1/16" gauges

Are there really 2 sizes there or is the 2-1/6" considered a nominal 2"gauge? Isn't there 25.4 mm in an inch....so a 52mm gauge is really a shade over 2 inches.

I think some people call the 2-1/16" a 2 inch. There is a 46mm gauge though....
