Smile 1996 RX7 type RB

Hi

New to this RX7 game. Looking at buying a 1996 Type RB with 8000 miles on the clock. I live in the UK and this is a Jap Import.
Wanted to know what to look out for and what the main problems are with this car are.

Do they still have problems with overheating and Apex seals etc ?

Also how much would you expect to pay for this the garage are asking £16999 GBP does this seem high ?

Any help would be great.

Thanks

The series-7 (96-98) version has many of the earlier bugs sorted.

The eary series-6 models had the minor problems.
1992 - FD3S-100000 version

Glen Butcher from http://www.4rotor.com just came back to Australia from the UK. he owned a series-8 (99-02) version while there & knows the UK pricing properly. Contact him via the web site & ask.

If you haven't already, also ask around in the regional/european forum here, there are a few UK members there.
