Wink 1994 FD factory Hi-po suspension package?

Is there any such thing? I know back in 94 R2s were available but was there any racing suspension package available for Touring edition?

Reason for asking: my 94 FD ride extremely rough...handling is great but the ride is killing our lower backs.

Thanks

No. Only difference between the R1/R2 cars and everything else were just the shocks. They were stiffer units made by Showa.

1/2 right..........

The 93 R1 did have stiffer shocks, but it also had a larger rear sway bar.
Mazda soften up both on the 94 R2.

Still the R2 package was harder riding than the touring or PEP cars

Did a prior owner modify the suspension, or are your tires inflated to more than 32 psi cold?
