1993 starter?
this may be really stupid, and im gonna check tomorrow, but does the fc starter match up on a fd. my starter died and i have a few fc starters lying around.

call around and take it to a local shop and ask them to do a full rebuild on it. You will have it back the same day like brand new, Thats what I did with both my starter and alternator, no down time
