1993 rx7 stalls out at a stop.

my 1993 rx7 begins to stall out rpm`s drop with my foot on the brake, with the air cond. on it always stalls out.note: the engine is warmed up.
i was told that the ecu was recalled in 1993 for rework by mazda.
i have the origional ecu.
the rpms should rise when the air conditioning is turned on.

Its the clutch switch. It's on the clutch pedal arm. Get under the dash and look at the clutch as you depress it. There is a small switch that makes contact.

The part is under $10 from Mazda and it will take you 5 minutes to install.

Hell it could be popped apex seals. Cause it stalled whenever I turned on the A/C with a blown seal. What vacuum are you at?

Do you have an automatic, because mine did that when it was auto and I had a PFC. I just upped the base Idles about 900.

Not a good sign IMO. On my automatic, my car stalled with my a/c on right before my coolant seal went. I would check into the other signs of coolant seal failure.
