1993 R1 suspension???
I have heard the a R1s have the best, stiffest and best handling suspension of all the sevens, NOW if this holds true what kind of springs/ coilover would be better for it? i/e: intrax (never these just and example) Ebaichs?, h/r? you know... and with the strut bars front and back is there a better one for the front or will the stock be best, and the rear same qustion, and the struts same qustion applies there too, and that goes for the sway bars too...
sorry for the qustions but im kinda new to 7s and am doing m y rescearch before buy...

only had my car a month so i don't know as much as many of the listers but as your posting is sitting there unanswered you can my 2cents
the r1 has the same springs as the base model, but much stiffer damping in the dampers
my car has had the stock dampers replaced with threaded KYB units that allow adjustable height and damping, it looks as though the springs may be stock
as the car was setup i find it hard to imagine a better setup without extensive track usage, these things stick so well that if you up your corner speeds anymore on the public roads you'll eventually hit oil/diesel/fine chip whatever and toytal the car
at this age most rx7s would have had their dampers replaced, a rough order of replacement in cost and performance would be
-stock, either r1 or touring dampers
-KYB dampers keep stock springs
-TEIN coil overs springs and dampers
-Bilstein "
-Ohlins "

you may get a better response on the suspension board and of course a search of the suspension archives will bring up all the above and much much more
