?? 1993 r1 production numbers by color??

does anyone know the breakdown of the 93 r1 by color? a few different sites have claimed the total number of 93 r1s being 1015 sold in the us. cym's were 350; that leaves 665. whats the breakdown between red(vr) and black(bb)?

My source shows something different:

http://www.mscw.com/info/RX7_1993_95_US_Import.htm

CYM: 350
VR: 1177
BB: 138

Tot: 1665

I have no idea if this is correct or not, but that source is pretty complete.

Here are the numbers straight from Mazda. They coincide with what I posted above. Thanks to the San Diego RX-7 Club for getting and making that document available.

I wondered about that too. I think those numbers only apply to the US... You should email Mazda Canada and ask them for some numbers.

hmm.. jr, your numbers make more sense considering BB was the 2nd most common color, but I'm looking at my 'official' sheet and thats what I have

Rx-7Addict seems to agree with my source. Maybe the "1" in the 138 is a typo. I guess it should be a 6.
