Lightbulb 1993 Front Harness Annotated Connector Pictures

Two weeks ago, I posted asking for this information and I was basically told it didn't exist and to read the electrical manual. Last weekend I took the time to make the images I was looking for. I figured that people, like me, looking to scale down their front harnesses could benefit from actual pictures of the connectors and spatial perspective of where they are located on the harness.

Having this would have saved me hours of work and is a great supplement to use with the electrical manual availible here:

Hope it will help you guys out too

Awsome. I know that took a lot of time to put together. Thanks from all.

Here is a pic of the emission harness that another forum member did for us. If someone could post a pic of the engine harness this thread would be complete and fantastic for all. One stop shopping.

Maybe I'll do the dash in a few days. Since it's one of the last.

Grimple1,
Check the FSM. It refers to the harness I posted as the "Emission Harness (EM)" and yours as the "Engine Harness (E)" not the battery harness. The OP covered the "Front Harness (F)". I just wanted to keep the names as they are referred to in the FSM to limit confusion. Ref page Z-7 in the 94' Wiring Diagram manual.

Steve.

fair enough. I've seldom heard anyone refer to it as the "emission harness". Everyone just naturally calls it the "engine harness" (even when purchasing a new one from the dealership).

Several people have asked for a larger version of the Engine Harness. When I originally posted it I thought I was at the file size limit but I'll see what I can do to make it easier to read. I'll post it to this thread.

A very valid next step should/could be to create the connectors/shapes in Visio and draft up some basic harness-designs with basic modifications (removed emissions, etc).

I just wanted to add this since there was some confusion with the harness names.

I redid the lettering, hopefully it is more readable now.

Since we're not allowed to edit posts..... Here are two corrections:

Block (1)
B1-10 – Condenser (NOT AC Condenser like I listed above)

Block (2)
E1-05 - Headlight Relay (Missing above)

Sorry about that

Still curious about this particular one - auto variant - should be in sector "3".

Know it's been mentioned on here before too!
