Question 1993 fd

Hello everybody,

First of all, I would like to say Hi to everyone. I just bought a 1993 FD. It is mostly stock.

I am planning to get a set of wheels. I am looking at one set with the following spec:

18x9.5 5x114.3 +30 offset 73.1

I don't want to roll any fender.

Would this set fit well without any rubbing or scrubbing?

Thanks a lot!

Welcome to the forum.
Check out the stickys at the top of the Suspension/tires/wheels section. Lots of info and examples posted.

The 9.5+30 in the front will force some fender work depending on ride height. The rear will look sunken in and disproportionately fitted to the front although you could probably balance it some with a small spacer.

Fitment on my car was 17x9.5+30 front with rolled fenders and 9.5+15 rear with rolled and pulled fenders no spacers used of course. To give you an idea......

Welcome to the club!
As mentioned previously, there is a lot of sticky's you can look through on fitment as well as pictures.
I'm running 18x8.5 +42 Front and 18x9.5 +38 Rear lowered on Racing Beat Springs. I will get a little rubbing on the front when on the freeway with a decent size bump but other than that, fits nicely. I also kept the sidewall on the tires a little beefy too which contributes to the rubbing.
