Question 1600cc injectors and rail install?

Is there something special that you are supposed to do to install the 1600cc injectors into the manifold? It feels like they are hitting the diffuser baskets and the rubber grommet is not letting the injectors fit into the hole. If anyone can help me ASAP, that would be awesome since I am out working on my car as we speak

Thanks,
Scott

Scott I asume You are installing these in the LIM/secondary rail? There should be a factory rubber ring( not o-ring) that sits on top of the injector difuser. The plastic difuser has a rubber in the middle and one on top. If They are Bosch 1600cc the tip should fit in the hole of the plastic difuser and the injector o ring will seal against the rubber ring on top of the plastic difuser.

The primary difusers do not have the extra rubber ring and are a whole different story. I had to move the o ring that was on the injector down on to the tip or I would have the injector sitting on the palstic difuser which would not seal. Maybe some one else who has done this a few times will help You out.
