Talking 155mph and lost my headlight cover :D

Hey all, I finally got to open up my car with another friend...he has a 93bas with IC, Full Exhaust, and upgraded ECU....I have a Itake, and DP...we both were going to the track to check out some bike races and I opened it up first and made it to 155mph when I saw him blaze by me...when we got the track he said he was doing 167mph and was still pulling hard...damn these ******* cars are fast...

then he tells me did you realize you lost your headlight cover? "ahhh, no!"

Anyway, aparently it just broke off from the wind...where would i look to get a replacement left headlight cover?

thanks all!

I just bought both driver and passenger headlight covers off of Ebay for $112. They are already painted my color though.

How much is a new fender from Mazda?

haha, same thing happened to me about 4 months ago. I thought it would be funny to blow by my friend at about 160, it was except for the fact that I lost my passenger side cover about the time i passed him ;-). Oh well, good excuse to get a vented one I guess.

Where did it break off? I'm just wondering if the headlight cover was loose and the vibration weakened it enough to break ... How did the cover break off?

It borke off...There are two bolts and one of them was loose and the other was missing...for those of you who still have yours it would probably be a good idea to tighten them down...I just ordered the cover from the dealer and it was $88.02 still have to get it painted though...

Be careful Y'all...

I took mine to just over 170(with all the windows and sunroof open), and my brand new Revo's Flew out the sunroof. My girlfriend at the time bought me those glasses. The scary thing is, is that she called me the next day, and said she had a dream that I lost the sunglasses that she gave me! Talk about female intuition!
