13b-rew identification?
How can you tell if you have a 13b or 13b-rew? Does it say anywhere on the engine? I ask because I had my engine rebuilt and on the rotor housings it says 13b. Is that correct?
TIA,

Engine?
All 2nd and 3rd Gen. RX-7's are 13B and thats the displacement code. Older Wankels are 10A (R100 -1970), 12A(RX-2,3 & RX-7), then 13B (Rx4, Cosmo,PU, late 1st gens, 2nd gens and third). The number is diplacement for 2 rotors 1308cc. The letter is series A's had different water passages and rotor reinforcing and a few other things. The REW is "Rotary Engine Twin Turbo" the japanese use "W" for that. As far as I know REW is not anywhere on the engine. If you have TT then its a "W".
