Call up Ray Crowe at Malloy Mazda at 888 533 3400. I'd recommend buying all your OEM parts from him, he owns an FD so knows exactly what you're talking about when ordering a part. He also sells new oem engine wiring harnesses for $750, tell him Rich sent you

It's actually probably for the best since RX7s of this age start to potentially have problems with the harness. I replaced mine around a year and a half (250 miles) ago just as a preventative measure and it worked out to be about $900 through Gotham. Saves myself from future pains...

Look for Fritz for used stuff - if he still wheels & deals on here. He always did me well!

You called your Mazda dealer, not Mazda. Each dealer can set their own prices, although $1100 is probably the current retail price for that harness. If you call the right dealer you should be able the harness that runs under the UIM for under $800.
The harness that wraps around the engine bay will cost more. $1100 might not be a bad price if it's that one you're asking about.

what we really need is some savvy person on the forum to start making custom heavy gauge, well insulated wiring harnesses that are streamlined for single turbo/non sequential applications and delete all the extra connectors
then sell them for $450 a pop
then sell them for $450 a pop

I have a very good condition (EXCELLENT) harness but from a right hand drive car - it came out of someones half cut.
I figured it wouldn't work since its Jspec and would be good for extra connectors.
Wound't this be what RHDjapan would offer?
I need a new harness - if I thought the jspec onen would work - without crazy routing... I'd use it.
