100,000 miles!





Even though I only got to put the last 16k miles one it, its still a milestone. Ive laughed and cried, as I'm sure most of us FD owners have done. Damn near put it up for sale a few times, and lost a girlfriend once cause I wouldn't! Driving the car when everything is working as it should tells me I don't regret keeping it one bit. Now that its at 100K, lost most of its resale value as a keeper, and had some mods done to it, I am sure I'll hold onto it for a toy for - well, I can't forsee ever having to sell it!

Anyways, I'd like to thank a few of the people that helped me make it to this point:

Many times I'd pull my hair out or almost break down in times of frustration (doing the hose job) and there was always someone who had "been there, done that" to help me through. The amount I have learned about the car feels like a learned degree or something. And when I imagine the sheer amount of $$$ I have saved on labor bills-Wow. This community is an awesome resource for the RX-7 owner, and hope to be a part of it, (and help when I can) for a long time. You guys/gals are the best, thanks very much!

This is the second (stock + this one) - it had a rebuild from Rotary Power at 64K, and when I purchased it it had 84K on the car.. I can tell its going to go soon too, coolant issues, lots of blockweld in it when I flushed it out - Likely it was overheated by the previous owner and then sold to me
