10-6-9 boost pattern?
i just got my boost gauge and installed it today, so i took a third gear pull from 2.5k to redline.
its a solid 10psi, just shy of 11 really, right up to the transition. drops to about 6psi intsead of 8, then i really feel the 2nd turbo kick in and the needle jumps right back up to 9psi but no further.
only mod is a downpipe. engine pulls 20 in/hg at idle. only engine issue is a leaky rear main oil seal. i fast passed emissions if that helps.
any suggestions? i dont really care performance wise, i just want to make sure my engine is healthy.

A low transition is a relatively common problem. It will not hurt anything.
You can try adjusting the length of the precontrol actuator arm, for one.
Or start testing individual solenoids to see if one tends to stick. Also a loss of pressure in the pressure tank can be enough to slow the turbo control actuator motion to get a bigger dip.

ok thanks guys, just wanted to make sure everything was ok.
if it were off by more than 2 psi i would probably do something about it, but im not that concerned and id rather not start tearing things apart until something is actually broken.
