1/8th and 1/4 mile times and setups please.

Just curious as to what times everyone is running and on what setups. Really like to see the best times on stock turbos. Thanks David

Tonight I used a drag strip at 3000 foot altitude. A very experienced racer told me that this should offset my time by about .7 seconds from a sea level run. My first four runs were pretty much crap. I initially thought that it was just my lack of experience as this was my first time at the track. After more reflection I think it was primarily an often experienced malady where the second turbo just doesn't really kick in properly. The last run satisfied me as it followed the numbers I've read about in the magazines, but with a .7 second offset.

I launched .04 seconds early, disqualifying myself, but that was fine with me as all I cared about was what the car would do.

60' 2.4 seconds
330' 6.4 seconds
1/8 9.7 seconds at 77mph
1000' 12.4 seconds
1/4 mile 14.697 seconds at 98.71mph

The car is a '93 touring model I bought in '93. I had filled the tank on the way to the track (not bright). The car has 90K miles and is completely stock (with a stock remanufactured engine which went in at 80K miles). Tires were some $100 bargan jobs at the local shop.

The biggest difference in the last run is that I just pretty much dumped the clutch and kept the pedal jammed instead of addressing the significant wheel hopping. My earlier launches had been less stressing and I don't think they properly spooled up the high rpm turbo.

i let my friend behind the wheel of mine at our local 1/8 mile track. got a 7.62 @ 92.2

my best mph has been 92.4, but there's more left in the car. it's on a mild tune with hardly any timing. those times with my friend in the car was with nitto 555r's and a 1.73 60 ft.
