For anyone with an automatic......do you get your best times just power breaking in low?

My best is a 5.4 with a Gtech

My tactic (everyone has their own) is to begin power breakin in Low+HOLD under light throttle till 2000-2500 RPM

Release brake and slowly press to WOT, Press HOLD button @ Redline and then redline "2" (gear 2)

The timing of the 1-2 shift takes a little practice but after a while I was able to blip the HOLD button just before redline so I would get a 1 sec Redline beep as it was shifting into "2"

I messed around with this for a few days. This proved to be the best method (for my car)

I could consistanly knock off 5.4 - 5.7 times.

By just leaving it in "D" and a normal street start I'd get about a 6.5

Hope this helps.
