*Vaccuum Leak?* have video!

Ok i'm still hunting down a twin turbo problem. It seems as though i've changed just about everything now, and i still have an intermittent transition with the secondaries....same problem.

Anyway, i have a basic quesiton, it might be a bit noobish to all of you, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I apply a mityVac to where the vacuum chamber connects to the rats nest. I pull vacuum to see if it will move my CCA. My CCA moves, however, the vacuum immediately leaks out?

My question is: Is this a closed vacuum circuit? Should vacuum leak out from anywhere between my vacuum chamber and CCA? I pull on the mityvac, and the CCA pulls it, but as soon as i stop pumping vacuum, it pulls out. In other words, i pull, the cca pulls, i stop, cca goes back out. I know....hard to follow...but in essence, vacuum is not staying in the system between the CCA and vacuum chamber, it's going out somewhere. I just need to know if that's the way it's supposed to be, or if when i apply vacuum to the rats nest, it should hold in there.

Long question for a short answer...hopefuly somebody understands what i mean.

Either way, i have a video (.3GP format) but i just don't know how to upload it? Any help will be appreciated!! thanx.

well, im pretty sure that it should stay in. If its leaking out then i think the cca might be bad. Try hooking the mity vac directly up to the vacuum port of the cca to see if will hold there

Yeah, that doesn't sound too good. Do you have good check valves in there? If the check valve is flaky, the vacuum will leak back into the manifold.
